I use to work in linear space as many CG artist but sometime it not enough to achieve a good looking render!
That why Blender community introduced Filmic sRGB LUT to the software.
In this post I tried to go further and test also ACES workflow to see what I can benefit from it.

I’ve just started to pay attention to others workflow, but I can already tell you that there is many advantages to switch to ACES.
It can improve GI on your render, make light feel more natural an it can even speedup the render time!
